For us having a deep understanding about how the body and the brain interconnect with each other is been a personal and professional Journey that has led us to grow as humans. It has been a pleasure and honor to be part of people’s healing process. Our experience has shown us that CranioSacral therapy is very effective approach for new born babies, children and adults as well. We were taught by Judith Bluestone, who herself triumphed over the challenges of Autism and created the Holistic Approach to Neurodevelopment Learning Efficiency that helped us to understanding and apply some of the concepts regarding neurodevelopment issues. Also, we have taken several trainings from Upledger’s Institute regarding how CranioSacral therapy can facilitate the integration of Sensory Processing Disorders where treating with such a gentle approach that uses the movement of the bones, fascia system and fluids of the body that affects much more deeply this self corrective mechanism. Therefore the bone movement is an enabling objective in CranioSacral therapy. If you want the structure to change, then, help change how you make it function. So, respecting the person’s internal forces and energies that provide what is required for the therapeutic corrections of the CranioSacral system, which is intimately related to, influences and is influenced by the nervous, musculoskeletal, vascular, lymphatic, endocrine and respiratory systems.

Physical Therapist that we refered to

Michele Gust Martinez, RPT, CSCS, CEAS has been a Physical Therapist for over 12 years and has been specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine for 10 years now. Being a manual therapist, she believes in a hands-on approach to rehabilitation and the treatment of acute and chronic pain whether it stems from an injury, muscular imbalances, poor posture, faulty biomechanics, or even arthritis. In addition, she has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist for 8 years as well as a Pilates instructor. So she believes in realigning and balancing the body by a combination of manual therapy techniques, mainly the Strain-Counterstrain Technique, and Pilates-based rehabilitation. Her studio is equipped with 2 Pilates Reformers for a complete full body workout with emphasis on the "core." Many of her clients refer to the Strain-Counterstrain Technique as "magic," saying it "magically erases the pain." For those tight muscles that just will not loosen no matter how much you massage or stretch them, Strain-Counterstrain actually neurologically resets the muscle spindle and allows it to finally relax, providing relief and balance to the entire body. Her goal is to help people return to work, to play, to living... one hurdle at a time. www.healingtouchrehabilitation.com
